With over 13,000 expecting women scanned, we have become an established maternity resource in the San Francisco Bay Area community. Since inception, our focus has been on providing a high quality ultrasound experience that maintains high standards of safety and affordability. By complimenting the traditional prenatal sonogram with the family-centered 3D & 4D sonogram, we have been able to connect families with their incoming member earlier and better, convincing many mothers to come back to us for every pregnancy and earning referrals from doctors throughout Northern California.
Our Sonographers
Each of 3DBabyVu's sonographers has performed thousands of 3D & 4D ultrasound scans and even more 2D ultrasound scans. Every one of our sonographers is fully credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), and has at least two years of post-secondary health education and one year of full-time, supervised ultrasound experience in addition to her experience with 3D & 4D scans at 3DBabyVu. Our sonographers scan exclusively in low-power OB mode (the same mode that your doctor uses), and know all of the right (and safe) methods to obtain beautiful images of your baby. We exclusively use the newest and most advanced 3D & 4D ultrasound imaging systems — the GE Voluson E8 and the GE Voluson 730 Expert, ensuring that images of your baby are captured in real-time and in the highest resolution possible.

Your 3D/4D sonogram at 3DBabyVu will be recorded on a DVD in real time, and you will be able to select the pictures of your baby you want to print from the best of those taken during your scan (you will get about one great image per minute of scanning), or bring all of them home if you pick up a Photo CD. Your ultrasound scan will take place in our charming ultrasound scanning theater, with room to seat several friends and family comfortably (check the individual location page for exactly how many) to watch your scan on our big screen, high-resolution viewing monitor. A live microphone in the room captures our sonographer's narration of your scan as well as the reactions and comments of you and your party. All of this goes on to your DVD! Extra copies for friends and family can be made in just minutes.
